The Outer Comstock Neighborhood Association seeks to maintain a full twenty-member board by bringing together dedicated Outer Comstock volunteers committed to keeping our neighborhood the gem hidden in Syracuse. Joining the OCNA Board of Directors is an outstanding opportunity and educational experience for any neighbor, new or native and whether or not you've served on a board before. As an OCNA board member, you'll join you're neighbors in advancing the community-based OCNA mission:
The Outer Comstock Neighborhood Association is a non-profit neighborhood organization whose mission is to promote and preserve a neighborhood environment that is pleasant, attractive, safe, healthy, and fosters the well-being of its residents.
The Board members meet the fourth Tuesday of every month (excluding November and December). Our annual meeting is mid November and OCNA does not meet in December. Board meetings typically run an hour and take place on Alden Street. Joining the board is a two year term.
